:(. Leo was my best friend for 13 years.

We found a Vet that came to the house and he was comfortable on our bed right where he slept every night.

My grandson is in the picture, who is 10 years old now and lives with us, was his buddy too.

...till we meet again.

The better the friend, the harder it is... I hope your drink is better than mine. I just buried a lil buddy, but beer isn't helping too much.
 
Sorry for your loss.. I know it's got to be rough. My girl is 13 as well. I dread the day. I hope you find peace in 5he memories..

I'm sorry for your loss @kgip2k .

I let my wife finish my Woodford reserve, and I'm having Tequila. Not feeling much at the moment.

Thanks Ben. I've seen lots of pictures of your girl in your car.

@1969383S helped with his advice to prepare. We prepared for 2 weeks but it was time. He was no longer enjoying life.
 
You have our condolences. That was probably the best of places......if there is a best.
 
We have a vet that comes to the house too. Makes a miserable experience just a little less horrible. She's been here three times. I hated every time. I have an 11 year old and a 10 year old. So I've got some hurt coming my way.

Sorry for your loss. Nothing makes it better but time.

And dammit, it's ok to cry. I don't cry. But when I lose a friend, I'm not too proud to tell you I cry like a baby.

Deepest condolences to you. I had to put down my best friend in March. No word exists to describe how f'n horrible it is and how deep the hurt goes...

I'm very sorry for your loss. There's no words to describe the hurt when you see those loving, and trusting eyes looking at you for the last time. We had to let little Buster go a month ago. The pain is still here, but it's a little less sharp. :( R.I.P. Leo.

Thanks. Sorry for your loss. I'm sure it will take some time. I wanted to be the last thing he saw. We have two other dogs and although we let them see him afterwards, they are still wondering where he is.

I feel for you.
I had to say good bye to my pal yesterday.
I knew it was the right thing to do, but it sure didn't make it any easier.
 
To all that have recently lost pets, its never easy.
A couple weeks ago our lab didnt seem to be doing very well,back end is going.
This week she seems ok.
But i know we cant let this go into winter. Not looking forward to the day.
She doesent seem to be suffering much, if at all.

I hope Leo wasn't in pain. He didn't seem like he was, just quit eating and was loosing a lot of weight. I think he was ready to go. The vet said we did the right thing.
 
God bless. So sorry for the loss of Leo. Always so heartbreaking when rainbow bridge time comes.

Man I am so sad for you're loss, the critters we have just find their way right into our hearts.
