Nice! I've got a '70 SS that my dad ordered new. It was his "Get outta the Army" gift to himself. It's got the 300 horse 350, M-22 and a 3.73 Posi 12-bolt. He had the cash for the 396 car, but he couldn't afford the insurance on the big-block. He and I rebuilt the engine when I was in high school, put an offset ground 400 crank in it (this was before chinese stroker cranks were available) so its 391 ci now. Close enough to 396 for us!

These cars (68-74) share the front subframe with the 1st-gen Camaro. So anything out there suspension or brakes-wise for the Camaros is a bolt-on.
