Kitty and I have been without any satellite service well over ten years now. Cable doesn't run way out here. We have over 2500 DVDs. When we see one we like we'll either go find it at the 3 dollar bin at Wally World or I'll get it off EBay. I've been thinking of transferring them all slowly to flash drives.
We've started doing that same thing as well, we picked u a couple 2TB external hard drives and saving music and movies to them. You have a whole lot more movies than us though. LOL
