We we’re going to go to the Funny Car Weekend race Saturday at Keystone but with at least 16 funny cars and lots of spectators it’s king of a circus getting to the lanes. Matt said why don’t we head to Quaker City instead. We will miss the 5000.00 race today as he has to work but we will leave around 6 tonight, get parked and have a beer or two with friends and be settled in for Saturday’s 10,000.00 race and Sunday’s 5000.00 race. Weather lots good for a change but you know how that goes.

Good luck and wish you great weather. I raced there in the late 70's and was last there for the Hemi Reunion several years ago.Nice track.

Very nice and to think it almost closed up. Owning a track is not a business I would want to have. Lots of work for little return.

Good luck! I have a "street car" race tonight (have to drive the car to the track, have DOT's, bla bla bla) and my regular bracket class Saturday/Sunday.

Well Matt and I left Home at 5:30pm after he got off work and drove 90 miles to Quaker City. As we were paying for the weekend they called all late comers to the lanes for a time trial for the gambler race. Matt took one and he just won 1st round. We didn’t expect to make tonight’s race but I made some pretty good time coming out. Oh well a red light in the second round.003 took us out. Car is running lights out. 6.11, 6.11, and a 6.11.

My home track! I'm traveling this weekend or I would be there. Really is a nice facility. Good luck!!

Man I hit the sweet spots when I took my ladderbars off and made some mods to them and made some adjustments to tame the wheelies down. Matt lost 5th round today in the 10,000.00 purse race so between last night and today with air temps 85-89 the Duster made 10 passes on a hot track with 60 foots from 1.282 - 1.289 with most of them being 1.282 - 1.286. One more 5000.00 races tomorrow. I took lots of pictures of Mopars but they are on an SD card so I will try to post them by Tuesday
