Reseal & gasket on 5.9L pan

The oil pan gasket seal is seeping on the 5.9L engine in my Duster. It has spool mounts. It is stock LA pan and there is a windage tray inside also. If I drop tie rod links, can I get engine high enough to remove pan. Hate to pull engine just for that. Front seal is not leaking; so hope to just do pan gasket. Thanks for the help and advice.

Totally agree with KrazyKuda on this one.
Plus with the engine up a bit you can get the front pan bolts and timing cover bottom bolts in a lot easier. (odd and tight angles otherwise)
I did a complete bottom end bearing replacement (crank and rods) along with the rear main seal, oil pump and pan gaskets and end seals by using this method.

Take the distributor cap off so it doesn't hit and break it when you lift the motor.:D
