Nice choice! Plenty of potential there. Just a couple of things. Disc brakes on the rear are doable (I have the Master Power kit) but they are not necessary for anything but competition style driving. I got a great deal on the kit from someone here on FABO that sold their project so I went with them. Here's what came in the kit, everything but a few brake lines and fluid.
Also, the wheels that the previous owner had powder coated are not the original wheels that came on the car. They weren't available until the next year and some of the purists here frown on putting rallye wheels on earlier A bodies. Personally I don't care because mine came with them when I got it too!
My HOA frowns on street parking also, but I've never been fined. I have received a couple of letters from them over the years reminding me of the rules! lol
