We have acquired a 1973 Barracuda, anyone want to buy it? Asking $27,000. I am a newbie to anything MOPAR, AND this "For A Bodies Only" web forum, please be patient with me. If you want more pics or have questions, please ask.

A friend of mine told me to use the below ad:

You are looking at a beautiful 1973 Cuda. The heartbeat of this classic is an excellent running 340 with a nasty growl being pushed out the back through a new dual exhaust. The under carriage of this animal is all original metal, absolutely no rust on floor pans or frame. Entire car is all original metal without patch panels or body filler. The paint is driver quality, but shows signs of her age. The car sits on all new tires and rims (original rims come with the car). It sports an 8.75 rear end with 323 gears which makes it a nice cruiser. The car is pushed forward with an automatic 3-speed, manual body transmission. Brake lights, turn signals, and running lights work as they should; this is one solid piece of Detroit muscle that anyone would be proud to own.

You need to have a price in the ad per forum rules. ALso, it's good you followed the rules and posted pictures, but how about some pictures that don't define the word "crappy"? That might help with the sale. You know, like from all angles.

It's ok. I'm just trying to keep your ad from being deleted, which the moderators will do if a price is not posted. As for the pictures, that's your choice. But people will assume the worst with the body panels that are not shown. Just friendly advice.

Thank you Sir. I will update, and take more pics. Its all new to me, and I have this vehicle that I need to sell. Can anyone advise how to upload a video?

Don't forget too, look down at the very bottom of the page. Notice where it says "other sites to visit". Those are all of our sister sites. You could join and post it there as well.

Being that 1970 to 1974 Barracudas are "E" bodies, you may want to join For E bodies only website. You may get more traffic on there for it. Post pix of the dash and interior. Looks like it's got an intact A/C setup. Does that work? Does it have a rallye dash or standard dash? Any cracks on the dash pad. Pix of trunk floor with trunk mat pulled back to show the sheetmetal etc.

You have to post it on YouTube then just cut and paste the link

Oh man, I was told this was an A body. I will surely transfer to E body forum, many many thanks. AC is not hooked up from what I'm told. No cracks on original dash. The lock to the truck is stuck, once I get it opened I will take pics.

If you post on the E body site, be prepared for people asking for Vin number and fender tag information. Might as well include it if you have it already. Also, some will want to know if you have the original build sheet, which is most commonly found under the back seat. Lots of good folks over there with good information.

If I were interested in spending more than $10k on a car, I’d want to see a bunch of pictures. If I was spending ore than $20k, then even more pictures. Each $10k the need for more pictures and less cheese in the ad is required.
