Front Exit Shifter Cable
Alex.here is some photos of when we did a front exit. Drill you hole on the passenger side allowing the cable smooth turns around the bottom of the bell housing.See the red cable.
Even thought this is on a slant six 904,you will get the picture.it will keep the cable away from the header. I also made a heat shield by the trans bracket. Hope this helps.
