The valve body was modified to be manually shifted from gear to gear, 1 is first gear, 2 is second gear and D, third gear. Automatic shifting in "D" is eliminated.
Now if it is called a "Reverse Manual" Valve Body, then D is 1st gear, 2 is second gear and 1 is third gear.
