Stop in for a cup of coffee

We’re at our overnight stop Indianapolis, getting ready to grab some BK.
Chris recommended a great hotel...Thanks!!
Going to pack up soon and head to the barn. It’s been a long 10 days and we are ready to be home.
As you know we did get a second in our class (35 nice cars including Matt’s modified stock Haha) and a celebrity judges pick. We never expect to receive an award, but its so nice when we do. Just makes you feel all the hard work you’ve done with the car is right.
Again it was a blast seeing everyone and look forward to the reunion next year.

Yay! Glad it worked out for ya.

Morning.
73 with 94%humidity.
Walking outside is like swimming..

Without planning it, I checked off a bucket list item Saturday.
One of the things I’ve wanted to do, is travel at least part all the old major US highways, Route 66 for example. Saturday, I took US Route 30, Lincoln Highway, all the way thru Western PA, and it only added 20 minutes of driving time

While prepping 97 fir pulling engine, isolating harnesses,i pulled all the plugs on the abs module and the abs light finally went out. After 10 years. Lol.

Morning from Hoppys Place.
Morning Tim,
Nice here this morning.
Sure its beutiful up along the river there.
Going to have some miserably hot overnights coming up this coming week and weekend. :(

Morning, looks like a road trip today to get the missing pieces for Tims car. Hell he should stay a month and just tack them on!:rofl::rofl:

Good morning. So, plan for tonight is disconnect the fuel line at tank and engine and blow compressed air through...or not. If flows air fine, then the thought is plugging my vent line for the tank, putting fuel feed line in a container and pressurizing the fuel tank ever so slightly to see if blockage us in the tank. So close, but so very far away....

I just stuff a rag around the air hose in filler neck and give it a couple shots. It wont build much pressure and if fuel line has a leak it will show up.
Do it outside.
I went to fire up my power wagon after it sat for a year, wouldnt pull any fuel. The pump was gummed up. A suction gun to pull fuel through pump got it going.
This year it needs a new pump.
Old one is only 18 years old.
