What's a good aftermarket intake
The problem is 318 small port size.If you can find the old school small port used manifold (Lots of looking on the web) That would be your best bet.
Second The Edelbrock Performer as others have stated is a good one because they have smaller ports than the 340/360 manifolds.
The Edelbrock Performer are plentiful and used ones are many.I got mine for $100 new in the box at a swap meet.(Pictured) and is on my 318 with a 600 Edelbrock AFB.
BUT on the street it doesn't matter. I run a 360 spread bore factory intake with a Thermoquad on my truck's 318 and works just fine for driving around.Not looking for high RPM or horsepower. Just my thoughts.
