Has anyone used one of these dash panels

I put one in a few years ago,
I cut the factory wiring harness plug off, and used aftermarket connecters to make it removable.
If I look around, I wrote the wiring colors down, and added led's for the high beams, turn signals and parking brake lights.
Everything worked fine upon start up.
I hate aftermarket gauges hanging off everything.
