Sounds like you have the 24 to 1 manual box with 5 + turns lock to lock which is standard. There is a 20 to 1 ratio of about 4 + or turns or so and the 16 to 1 ratio about 3 + turns gears available for the manual boxes. Power steering is about the same as the 16 to 1 ratio. They say the one with the 20 to one is a great compromise between the 24 and 16 to 1 ratios
