Piles.....

...and piles of stuff. Who else here is guilty of building piles on the corner of your table etc? I am a Master Pile Builder. Had a pile of stuff on the table. It ended up in the wagon I use for my camera gear at the track. I did not even bother going thru it...just hauled the wagon over to an empty trash can and tossed it all. Pile has not been touched in 4 months...if I have not needed any of its contents by now....
 
I just move the piles into storage bins and file them in my garage. I got them by years....and I have actually gone back into them and found stuff. I applaud your courage to toss stuff you don't use. I do draw the line on paper though: no periodicals, no newspaper, nothing like that unless it is insurance, tax or mortgage related. Damn, If I could pan right I could show you a 10 foot long table covered in laptops, displays and electronics parts. Help.....!

There was no bills or anything of that sort in there, my wife always goes thru the mail when we get home. Was just crap. Parts of camera body manuals I printed to help me understand things, that sort of stuff.
 
All this talk of piles has got my son and I motivated to clean up the piles of rusty gold and get a booth Sunday for the mopar nationals and swap meet to make money to buy mor parts to pile up.

still got some more room on the trailer, so that means got to load up more of it. Hauled scrap metal all week including a couple parts cars that were picked over. Other than a couple c-body cars waiting to be put back together I'm down to one parts car that I am keeping for parts for my big block duster.
 
Dude, thats awesome. Moparts come and go, but they always find a home somewhere. I seriously wonder what percentage of US A-body fans are members here? You think we got 20% as members? Eg, if you polled the DOT and found how many 65 Darts were still registered on the road today, I wonder how many are members here. Saw a new one today in Seal Beach....

When I saw the title, I thought this was gonna be about the dogs.
 
Well the mopar nationals were a good time, hot temperatures for sure. My pile of parts didn't dwindle as much as I had hoped. Probably doesn't help that I bought more than I sold. Or at least as much anyway. Hehe. That's the fun of the show I think.

In fact, I'm really bad about it.
Thing is, if I put things where they should go, I'll never find it.
 
My piles have piles, until the Boss puts them "away!" Then I can't find anything.
 
Last night I found a pile in a cabinet...that has been there for 4 years....I really need to work on this. I have had 16 people contact me about pictures...another pile to deal with....this is the project of the day.

Thanks Rob. Ernie has figured out that if we just open the front door and let them run...and play....when it comes time to relax at night they pretty much just leave us alone...they are exhausted and just want to sleep.

About a month ago the hounds bark changed from playful to aggressive. Butch, our neighbor behind us yelled they had a snake. Normally Daisy is fast enough that she waits until the hounds get the snake focused on them and then she goes in from behind and, grabs and shakes it until it is dead. This snake was in a bunch of rocks around a tree....Butch handed me his 12 gauge...if I did not get rid of it they would have just kept going back to that spot. I tried picking it up with a shovel, but it did not want any part of it.....
