Best option for headers

I have used Summit Brand, Hedman, and Dougs in a 73-74 Dusters with small block and used TTI for big block in a 75 duster.

The cheaper headers don't have as thick of a flange that bolts to the heads and sometimes the header gasket leaks or doesn't seal up as well. The cheaper brands also have the steering linkage go thru the headers and hang lower.

The Dougs and TTI headers cost more and you should use a mini starter.

I used Doug Part Number D453 (If I remember correctly) on my car and didn't have any fitment issues. I would spend a little more up front for the headers to get a better quality header that SHOULD last longer and give you more ground clearance.
