I sold the car to a guy for his boy. He had a 65 baracuda getting done at the garage and he saw the Demon and wanted it. Three days after they got it home he let his son drive it the night before he was leaving for the Air Force.
He was racing a 68 440 charger. The trans went into two gears when shifting to drive. Caused by a shift kit improperly installed. The car was going the same direction as the explorer in the picture. The rear of the car came out to the right. It did a complete 360 and it hit the rock as the front was coming back around.
He hit this rock right on the point. Killed instantly and his legs were wrapped up in the floor. They were doing at least 115 that is what the shift point was if you wound second tight and shifted drive 323's that were in it. The passenger was paralyzed. The boys in the Charger did not stay there this all came out at a later date. I towed the car.
