Looks familiar

I've gotten bearing plates, covers, and stuff from DPI. Less expensive that others. Really good luck/service with Good Vibrations Racing too.

Cant wait to see you finish.

I'm seriously thinking about giving my tax return to Dyer's!

Its way better to let the pro's handle it than piece one together.

What is the point? The only thing on my 67 I didn’t build came from Jamie Passon. If any other competent human can measure, so can I. Surely Dyer and Hampton are experienced, but ultimately they are running off of the same manual as I am. I am confident in my abilities and understanding on the subject. As with any experiment, there is trial and error, theories and conclusions. But thanks for the heads up. The manifold is the only thing I am winging. And, since I have procured another 440, I can always get the RB mani for 1/3 the B price, and run the 440. I put this on the back burner to get the car close. The truck that the blower will ultimately live on runs and drives as it is. So what else to get my rotors turnin when the notcho gets me down?

I'm starting to go through withdrawls I need a blower fix!!!!!

So I finally got the offy back and planed to low spot on front carb. Sawzall and die grinder to remove the center. Welding soon. Got a steel crank at the shop for a 180* second keyway

Weeeh, I almost had to go to a mustang forum for my blower fix.

Keep the updates flowing

Haha, what can I say? I pay the machinist in 30packs. I don’t usually press him. He won’t do the keyway, so I dropped it off at an older fella that does them for the tractor pull guys. I’m hoping the low comp ratio will keep me where I want to be. Stock stroke 400 +.030. Replacing rod bolts and such, but otherwise should hold up. Probably going to change the cam, 110* is what is in there, but probably go something closer to 114* solid flat. So far the manifold has me about 350$. Offy 2x4 and spacer + 30 pack. Sure beats the 1700$ b block blower intakes go for

I’m still debating on buying quick fuel brawlers and boost referencing them. I was going to buy a few mechanical old 750 holleys, but for the balance between the 2 sets is around 300$. I’m still not opposed to the holleys, as this is a “budget” blower. At this point, with detroit 6-71, bearings, gaskets, carb plate and rear plate I’m only into the blower for roughly 500$. It’s not hard, and all the blower shops are glad to sell you parts. I mean, they had to start somewhere. I have to wait til manifold is at least tacked before I can order snout, but I have pulleys lined up. More to come...

Glad you're making progress - I am getting my block back this week from my machinist - going to have a blower on it as well - What are you planning on for heads?
