They reproduce that now, it’s about $135 I think. Nice used ones used to be $300-$400 dollars until the repop arrived. You can probably get it from Classic or other large vendors, it was being repopped by Metro Parts

From what I hear the reproduction parts are not correct.made out of stainless and the same size.original parts are aluminum and different size.

I have repop on the 67 and the 50 yr old originals. Repops are shinier, and appears fine. The originals are ""dull". I believe they are anodized.

One new repop piece with all others OEM wont look great. I doubt the OEM aluminum could be polished enough to match the repop finish. One might clearcoat the repop to knock its finish down a tad.
I can look at what spares I have left here, and post pics. Already sold the very best of. I wont attempt to identify upper or lower though. Not enough difference to concern me. Its a safe bet that any lower I have here will be dinged worse than the uppers.

From what I heard the repos are bottoms not top and bottom. And one is upside-down?

Correct! When I talked to Joel at Metro years ago when was first developing this part, I asked which it was, the upper or lower. He told me they were both the same, at which I answered that no, they were not, and took his piece to my car and showed him the difference. I told him he got lucky and picked the lower to repop, which was totally a shot in the dark because he was using the best piece he had as his template, which just happened to be a lower.

When installed incorrectly, you can clearly see the difference in profile against the taillight, but when used lowers were $300-400 and the upper could be had for a fraction of that, not many people cared. I too bought an upper and flipped it over, for the $5 I paid, it was a no brainer. I’ve since found a nice used lower on a parts car i bought.

Two uppers look fine on my car. Harder to tell the upper is wrong at the bottom.

I looked at what I have here ( I forgot where I had hid it ). Nothing I think you would be happy with "as is". One piece still has a decent shine to it but has some dings. Another that is very straight but dull as dirt. It would need some serious polishing, re anodize.
