B&M Megashifter in factory console?
So I picked up an auto console at Carlisle for my currently column shift '69.
I've seen a few photos of successful marriage of B&M shifters (appear to be QuickSilver and/or Sport Shifter), without hacking the original top plate.
Has anyone done this with a Megashifter???
Given the similar operation between Quicksilver & Megashifter, I think it could be done. I realize there's going to be some carefully measured fabrication for brackets, etc., which both I & a friend of mine are capable of.
I'm also planning on locating the console a couple inches rearward of stock location for comfort. Last pic is my car.
