I am the guy that went from a 415 to a 5.7 based 392. I am super close to running. I have to prime the oil system and run a few wires for the alternator, radiator hoses and I am running. I have zero regrets doing this. I can go to any dealership in the united states to get motor parts etc. and I am up and running. the difference between me and 408 swinger is he is running a carb and I am running a throttle body EFI system. 408 swinger has two good threads on this site to read thru, and he is up and running.

and I am doing this to a stock front suspension 74 dart sport with a cope race trans behind it
