Will a 50.75" 8.75 flange to flange axle housing work?

The ones I have dealt with have been the same on the stock spring pad widths and similar axle lengths (outer axle flange to outer axle flange) but the axle tube lengths and backing plate to backing plate measurements vary by the rear brake drum widths. I am sure there are exceptions, though!
