1952 Saratoga need help

Convert it ONLY if you have an OEM carb with all the accessories to do the switch. Can of worms if you cobble it together.

Is there a stock 4 barrel for this engine/transmission combo?

electronics in 52? IIRC the electric contact is probably an overdrive cut out. Does the car have an overdrive trans? If thats the case, it may be done with a hobbs pressure switch or a microswitch on the carb, eg. like a nitrous switch setup.

here is some info..."The electric control system works off 2 wires connected to the coil. There are 2 switches built into the carburetor to control full throttle and closed throttle shifts. The wiring goes to the transmission which has a governor, a solenoid and a switch."...Good luck.

Thats actually a good idea, I’ll look into that!

Oh and by the way, is there any other brand of piston besides Egges that makes pistons for these early hemis?
