Looks like I may need to have my 3.23:1 sure-grip 8 3/4" rear-end rebuilt. I have an appointment to take it to a very reputable Mopar man in late August (after the Woodward Dream Cruise). I have no idea what a rebuild will cost. Anyone have a "ball park" figure?
 
Just the pumpkin? $400 to $800 depending what it needs.
I had mine rebuilt in Maine, $700 new bearings, yoke, rebuilt SG and ring and pinion gears.
 
$300.00 around here if I supply the parts.

You should ask the guy doing the work for you first though, no surprises that way.
 
Thanks for the replies. I was expecting a lot worse. I just didn't want to pass out when I get the quote.
