Summit Racing said they actually offer a warranty on the part, but since I already went through MSD, there's absolutely nothing that Summit can do about it. Called the MSD tech line again, the tech guy was convinced my wiring was good, and that my problem is either the mag pickup in the distributor or the coil is bad. He said the only way to test the coil is by load testing it, the easiest way for me to do that is to put the coil onto another car with an MSD box that I know is good, so if anyone in the North Seattle/Everett area has a car with a functioning MSD box in it and is willing to let me test the coil in their car in the next few days, let me know.
