Get a new M&H harness.
I agree, it’s not worth installing 50 year old wiring back in our beloved MOPAR’s.

Buy Yearone (M&H) like the above post suggests, the best plug and play wiring harnesses on the market.

True, I was just being cheap since it’s my 10 year old sons car. He bought the 69 with no motor for 1000$ and I had an extra motor laying around and dropped it in. The previous owner really did a number on the wiring harness. I just wanted to get my sons car up and running lol. Didn’t realize it wAs going to be a money pit lol. But he is having fun wrenching on it.

I have a driveshaft, rebuilt and ready to go, however I am in Canada and shipping would probably be killer.

Better spell out your trans and rear end combo if you want to get the correct length driveshaft. They are different lengths for different applications. The most common being about 52” for a 7 1/4” rear with a 904. Also, that Charger unit will not work, it will be too long and probably have the larger 7290 U joint. Your application will almost certainly need the smaller 7260 U joint.

I have a few 52” driveshafts here in Michigan if you’re close by, and I would also ship one if you needed one.

Thank you for all of your responses. Decided we are just going to sell my sons valiant and let him save up to get something in better shape.

Man, gave up on your project in just one Day?
Lol! His car was a hunk of junk! I’d rather him save his money and buy a better car if if needs that kind of money put into it. It just needs sooooooo much work.

You can rewire the under hood yourself with some wire connectors and some wire... I've rewired a few engine compartments and it's not that hard...

i'm just impressed a 10yr old had a $1000 to plunk down on a car
