Should I rescue this? '66 Dart 4-door

Here is how I view 4 door cars, or station wagons for that matter. You get twice the car for the same money, or the same car for half the money. Those two doors only, cost a lot of money. If you want a two door, and the car is in this or that shape, you pay so much for it. If it was a four door, and it cost the same money, the car would be in a much better shape. A lot better.
And, if you happen to have a spouse and kids, a 4 door is much more convenient. Try having 3 kids in the back seat that wants out now, just right now, and you have to get out first. I do not have kids, but I have been one, and the ones in the front seat were yelling and telling us to be patient. But, I could clearly see that they were ...... for having to get out of the car all the time.

My late dad, he was a truck driver, and had a Mercedes Benz truck, with 4 wheel drive, and he used to say that a truck with 2 wheel drive was only a half truck (since they got stuck so easily). Now, how does that equate to cars and doors, you get the picture. Who on this planet want to drive around in a half car ?

Good analogy. I never thought of them that way. Something to ponder though, "all doors" are not as popular or worth as much to resell. So, if you want to restore one, it is easy to over spend from a resale value standpoint.

Remember, 4 doors, no waiting!
