I just got a call from Eastwoods saying I won their draw at Carlisle. Shipping me a new tool in the mail. I can't remember which tool the draw was for. I think they said it was a surface conditioning tool, which would be neat.

You lucky SOB. I’m gonna buy me one of those one of these day. Congratulations!

My prize got delivered yesterday, and yes that is the tool, and it looks great. Only problem is Canada Customs nailed me for $62.00, for duty, HST, and handling charges...for a free prize. I once had to pay close to $20.00 to pick up a "free" $10.00 hat.

I wondered if they would cover all your shipping when I saw location. At least you got it quickly...And this one is worth way more than you had to pay. Did they give any abrasive drums with it?

Eastwood covered the shipping, so they did their part. It was customs that added all the fees. It only came with one drum, a pink one, like in the picture, that kind of resembles a scotchbrite pad. I will probably have to buy some more.

How did it arrive? UPS, Fedex or Canada Post?

Canada Post. I shouldn't complain, most times I get something shipped by Canada Post I pay nothing. I guess it averages out.

You should pay duty........made me pay more duty for a “few” extra cigars I tried to sneak across
than what I paid for ‘em. And me an ex-Canadian at that.:poke:
