Solution ended up being to cut one tube on my TTI headers drivers side and roll/clock it about 5 min to get clearance, the passenger side pulled off of the pan ever so slightly as it was tightened.

Got a call today from “King of Trim” that my GTS trunk panel was done and should arrive mid week. Can’t wait to see how it turned out. It has the original dealer id plaque for Hutton-Scott Dodge in Charlotte NC pop riveted on the panel. I had them restore it with the advertisement id in place. In the attached picture I outlined the original dye stamping to highlight the letters. Very interested in finding out how it looks now. BTW Hutton-Scott Dodge in Charlotte NC, the dealer sponsored a Buddy Baker driven car in the mid 60’s.

Very interested to see how that trunk panel turns out. I am considering sending mine to King of Trim to be redone. Mind sharing how much it cost to get the panel completely redone (maybe in a PM)?

Received my trunk panel today from King of Trim and it looks great! They also were able to locate a GTS insert for me as well. Attaching some before and after pictures. I am very pleased with the work.

Grill and headlights installed! Still need to buy bumper bolts, temporarily installed for fit up.

When I decided to go with Holley fuel injection because of how well it worked on a friend’s Pontiac, I was hoping to be able to keep my theme of the car looking like it came straight out of the mid seventies. Problem is the FI requires a water temperature sensor and a SB Mopar really doesn’t have a great way to provide it. I decided on trying to insert the sensor into the upper radiator hose. We will see how this works but it definitely distracts from the engine appearance I was shooting for.
 
Tedious but a giant step forward. Getting lots of quality help with wiring and reinstalling dash. Getting anxious to fire this baby up!

my gts 340 dart is far from yours . at least the 340 is the one from the car , but mine converting it to an a833 stick . maybe put a gv od setup in it , just have to use a long output shaft on my a833 . and get the gv for an e body for the shifter mount i made will work .

Looks like a great project! Is that factory air? Great if it is, here in south Louisiana A/C is a much sought after accessory now that traffic is more dense. I ended up finding a dealer add unit for the compressor brackets but went to classic auto air for the underdash unit.
 
re the water sensor, if you turn the clips 180 degrees so they're 'under' the hose and paint them, the ally fitting and the sender satin black it'll help them disappear.

Aftermarket intakes like that Edelbrock almost always have two places to screw in sending units. What happened to those?

The sending unit is 1/2”, I am giving this a shot first. If I decide it doesn’t work or I’m not happy with it I will have to unbolt the intake and cut and thread the extra factory supplied location to accept the larger sending unit.

Thanks, good idea, after the run-in we plan to try to do something like that to help hide it better.

Maybe Holley makes one with smaller threads? It wouldn't hurt to ask.
 
It’s been a while since my last post, the past few months sine hurricane Ida and supply chain issues have slowed progress but pictures here are from today. A friend is working to install the headliner.

Question, the headliner was out when we started this restoration, does the covered sail panels install over the headliner in the back above the package tray or does the headliner just pull over the panels on a 1969?

Rear glass installed, surround trim installation next. Taped off trunk edge to help align GTS trunk panel and protect paint from scratches during install.

Carpet laid out to reduce memory before installing trim and seats. A little dirty from shop dust.
