How did you guys get that car that light, that is like a 1000 lb diet.

I wish I had pictures of it with the hood off. The K member and frame rails we're all drilled. When you open the hood it looks like they used a piece of metal swiss-cheese. Same way in the rear end area Swiss cheese.
Subframes were tied together no roll cage. The inner Fender Wells had been removed and there was a piece of cloth asbestos replacing them. This worked pretty good with fender well headers.
No back seat and sometimes no passenger bucket seat. No carpeting.
Fiberglass 6 pack hood.
Super Trick rims.
The only thing added to the car that added weight was the frame connectors. Everything else was a removal of weight.
