I have a real nice meter for work but i have that same meter at home. spin the dial back and forth a few time. thay will both read the same(or close enough). inexpensive take a little bit of compromising.
You'll love this... I grabbed an old one where the cables had broke and plugged the cables from one of those meters into an older meter and it said 12. 55 LOL confirming neither one we're good but all of them are crap...
