What to expect out of mild build 360

3.23 gears and stock convertor it isnt going to run anywhere close to real low 13’s. Maybe real high 13’s if i had to guess.
Back in 1972 i had a 69 340 swinger. Headers and 3.55 gears. Ran 14.23
This should run better than that no doubt. I will say 13.70’s- 13.80’s
This all assumes he has a stock convertor

Sorry for the late reply, Yep I've got a stock 318 converter with the B&M 10239 flexplate (after the balancing weights I welded on last year blew off and put a hole in the transmission case)

Agree completely
I would add( and i bet you agree) thinking what something will run, and actually getting to the track and putting down the number are way more often than not two completely different things.
The OP has some good parts, no doubt. But getting to the track can be extremely sobering..... lol..... just the tire he has on the car could make a 1/2 sec difference in ET..... one way or another

Yeah the tires on the car are gonna change at some point, just some cheapys to replace the who knows how old tires that were on the car when I bought it. And yeah the only thing I'm expecting when I get to the track is for the car to break lol, it seems like that's the only thing its doing this year, although I don't mind since I'm learning a shitload about fixing it :P
