I just attach a small clevis/ anchor shackle (name I was taught) through the eye on the back, and plug the "wench" in. It works pretty well. That is how I got the junk boat up on the trailer. I don't think I even used the snatch block

..............this one, hauled home on a little tiny "used to be" tent trailer
