What are you saying.... I can't press on a pulley!:lol:
I press on PS pump pulleys with a bolt, nut and a tripple stack of large washers.
I screw the bolt all the way into the shaft, then start tightening the nut till the washer stack just bottoms on the shaft end. No pressure on the pulley, and if the center distorts enough to separate from the fiber pulley then there is a bigger problem.
Because there was a chunk of plastic found (ironicly with the part number on it!)
And the metal center devoid of plastic I suspect it just let go.
