I wanted slicks for the Valiant but all of them where too wide for my taste, and too wide for the standard wheel houses. After some research I found these Phoenix F/X 7/26-15 at Jegs. Mounted on standard steel rims, 6 inches wide they look perfect for that old school/sleeper look.

Car looks good and the stance is great too. How did the slicks work? What were your drag times and 60' times?

@cawcislo They worked fine, I guess. This was the first time I drove with slicks so I´m still a newbie.

The Tallhed Dragway is just a 1/8 mile track and I managed to get a 10.2002 sec run as my best. Did the 60´ in 2.2537 sec.
I have a problem with the engine though. The torque converter stalls to low which makes engine to loose power at full throttle. With a better torque converter (≈3000 rpm) and a little more practice my plan is to cut a half second until next next year.

nice car, it´s a 67?

28x9 MT Pro Bracket Radials fit the wheel wells of my 68 Valiant perfectly.....no rubbing at all with SS Springs.

I have run those slicks for years. That is the largest tire I could fit on my 66 Cuda, without either moving the spring or cutting the fenders. Using them on my 66 Valiant, now. The Valiant has the fenders cut but I had the tires, and they work. I 60 foot about 1.76-1.80
