I have a 73 Dodge Dart Swinger that I put a new motor in a few hundred miles ago. Yesterday it started misfiring out of the blue. It runs perfect when cold but after driving it at operating temperature for a while it misfires pretty badly. Thanks for the help

Can you tell us what color the car is?

LMAO did you see that? Trejo rescued that kid? That was badass.
dudes cool af, met him 22 yrs ago.
Seen him at comicon recently when my kids wanted to go.

Can be the ecu or the pickup in the distrib.

Yes he is badass! That is great to see him do that.

check to see if choke is going off all the way and for loose or burnt plug wires on exhaust manifold possible vacuum leak on intake runner where the vacuum line fell off also check the electrical plug that lays on the intake manifold that has all the engine wires going to it.

How do you know? We don't even know what engine, what ignition system, the color of the car, how many scratches it has. For all we know it's Chevy powered. Is your crystal ball workin? Tha cats knocked mine off the table and cracked it in half a long time ago.

How do you know it's got a choke? It might be EFI. It might have a Ron's Flying Toilet. Maybe Hilborn injection. But we're "just supposed to know"?

It's a 73 Dodge Dart Swinger; how many engine choices were there? IIRC the choices were red or blue

Yeah but these guys just come on here askin these questions leavin out everything. Car's over 50 years old, but we're "just supposed to know" what it's got. Until I get more info, I got better things to do.......like make fun of it. lol

Yeah I get that...... but really, there ain't many answers to his question; three I think;compression, ignition, or fuel.lol.
Maybe 4 if you include air;or 5 if you include exhaust
But hey, it's a running engine........
So I'm sticking to valve lash....... for now.
