Guys this is a real yuk yuk!!! (the Dakota King)

Went up to the "old home" today, a guy drove clear over from Ellensburg, WA to buy the "Dead Mastadon" Dakota frame and running gear. HE IS GOING TO PUT THE WHOLE THING, v6 and all, under a 50's GMC pickup. THAT OUGHT to upset the "Chivvy" guys LOLOLOL

(Dead Mastadon because when I bought it, was under a cool carport. I thought a dog(s) had been inside, it was hairy. Did not smell too bad. When I got it home in the sun it STANK!!!! Stripped ALL the interior out, took to the dump, then dropped my clothes at the back door and took a shower!!!

Body was a rusted wreck.

I remember when you posted that before. I think that's the one I was trying to bum the rear bumper off of you.....lol. I finally found one semi close by. Got my wifes 04 quad cab Dakota up and running a while back. I painted the wheels today in prep of new tires Monday. Those things are a BEOTCH to paint and not have 40 runs!

Out of all that junk I had zero good bumpers. This truck was rusted so bad that fenders under the factory flares were like potato chips. when you raised the hood, the part of the grille that sets over the bumper, you could see THROUGH the bumper to the ground LOL

Wow if you think that is rusted bad you should come hang out with me for a while and look at my junk! Lol

The bed on our Dakota has rust under the flares too. I'm gonna buy the patch panels that are available, and fix it with those. I'm going to have to be creative to fix the rust on the wheel wells under the bed skin.

Don’t know,doesn’t seem to have lived its entire life in Eastern WA. I’ve taken so real nice cars out of E burg.
