1969 Dodge Dart Pro-Street 440
Well got a Fuuuuuuck ton done! Not much was picture worthy.
Got the car to run, idle (at 575 rpm!), and rev! The computer and O2 were bad and Holley got new ones sent to me. I hooked up everything and the thing would still not run. After much monkeying around I found out I fouled out the plugs from trying to start it full rich 9,000,000 times. So new plugs (hotter). Then I got copper headder gaskets and welded the piss out of the exhaust, they said any pin hole leak could effect the O2 readings. Now she runs like a champ.
Ooooooonly took me 1.1 years to figure all that out.
Now I’m permently wiring the car now that I know everything works. So you can see the mass of wires are 80% gone. Cut. Trimmed and terminated. Still a bunch to go.....
I also wanted the racers feel to the car so my wife printed me these vynal decals to put on the quarter window. I don’t have a real class or a NHrA listener number, but it looks good enough for now.
