You make a good point. The shields on my car are very thin with age, and they just popped off. Looks like they were held on with 3 small spot welds or rivets. I used the plug wire pliers from the top and reached up from the bottom and snapped them right on. I’ll keep my eye on the boots to make sure the heat doesn’t mess them up.
