Carb info needed

Partially correct. After Carter folded, Federal-Mougal picked up the rights. They had Weber make the Carb. Weber has since always made the carb. Edelbrock ought the rights from Federal-Mougal.

All Federal-Mougal carbs are stamped with a “9” as the first digit. The next digit is the size. “6” is the 600 CFM series carb.

IDK if the Edelbrock parts of the Fed/Mo carbs. They should! But I never (yet) tried.

The WEBER on the side gives it away. They bought Carter or the rights to that particular carb(AFB). Then Edelbrock aquired from there. I want to say that even the first "Eddy" carbs still had WEBER on them. It is an "aftermarket" like an Eddy. Someone just removed all the choke goodies. So, still easy to get parts for.
