More issues, no end to them it seems.

Take a look at the picture. What is wrong ? I thought one of the middle lenses were supposed to be white. But, maybe some came like this.

The outers, if equipped with backup lights, would have had the whitish backup lens. Back then they were an option!

Well, the light has a bulb for it, and wires too that goes somewhere. No light in them when I put the car in reverse though, so that is another project to investigate. Is it possible to find white lenses and put in ?

Check first to see if the wires power up. Hate to see someone go through the trouble to find lenses to find out the circuit is not hooked up.

The backup lights have a single wire that goes to the front, usually through the connector behind the driver’s kickpanel. Going from memory I believe it routes to one terminal on the backup light switch. For 65, it’s mounted either on the lower steering column before the column goes into the engine compartment OR if you have a factory floor shift, the B/U switch is mounted by the floor shifter. The other terminal of the B/U switch is routed to the hot terminal on the wiper switch where it draws power!
