1968 gts roller in rough shape

Can you do ALL of your own work? And I do mean ALL of it. If you have to pay anyone else to do anything, you will be way upside down in it. If you CAN do all of the work, and if you would enjoy doing it, that is great. If, however, you are thinking that you can do a little here and a little there and come out ahead in the long run, you might want to think twice. I am really good with rust repair and panel replacement, but I wouldn't take on a project like that unless it was a rare car. Don't get me wrong, I am not in this hobby for the money but I won't be willing to invest $40,000 into a car that will only be worth $18,000 when finished. Unless you can do all of the work (and you enjoy it), you will be way better off buying one that is already done. Not only will you be way ahead financially in the long run, you will have the car to enjoy rather than spending 5 years fixing it.
