Here's what I have to work with. 65 GT originally a S6, guess a 3 or 4 speed on the floor (has the hump), manual steering and brakes, looks like a disk conversion on the front and dual MC, hideous install, guess it will do for now. now has a 79 360, Eddy performer and Carter Comp series carb, sounds like a stock motor, dual exhaust all the way out back, 4 speed with a Hurst shifter, and 7 1/4 rear end, I have no history on the car, bought from a dealer out of state, title says CA, bought from TX.
Glass is all good with no fogging even around the edges, real nice headliner in black, carpet is good, but faded, rear package tray is an abomination of white faux fur???????, musta been on an acid trip bout then, bucket seats in pretty good condition for original. motor starts right up, idles good, no smoke or strange noises. body doesn't show any signs of rust, but the cracking paint has me wondering what's under there!
14 inch rims and blackwalls in ok condition and hold air.
Things I have acquired so far:
1. new package tray
2. dash cap for the dash pad
3. wheel lip molding for the right rear
4. Commando air breather and valve covers
5. larger 7 blade HD Mopar fan
Anywho, here's a few pics, as You can see, I have the steering column out for a rebuild and repaint, ripped the door panels off because they had installed door speakers and were falling apart, stripped the dash and ripped out the heater box to install a vintage air unit.
