A518/46RH transgo TFOD-HD2 shift kit install

Not sure if it’s a must do but I think you might be able to unbolt and pry the overdrive housing up just past the fluid tubes, an inch maybe, to rotate it enough in order to get the pin out sufficiently. It doesn’t have to rotate very far. The instructions make it sound like not every transmission has the pin blocking boss. Had I known I would have tried to do it that way. It’s the end bushing that’s a tight friction fit making it difficult to pry up and then back down as long as everything is aligned properly.
