Grocery getter

It just looks like it's been cared for, wish my camera would take the swirls out of that old enamel, and she should look so good! But hey, I was looking at a close to B5 color that was factory on a 65 Imperial, looked original, it had pony spots from oversprays, you had to really look t find them though.
I'm putting together some for the garage. I got zip with the car when we got it. An old registration from Montana, and the delivery pamphlet, I'm looking it through, trying to contact the person who used to own it in '93, and that person is now working as County Clerk for Beaverhead County Montana-makes it just all that much harder believe it or not, and have found where it was before Portland, over in Idaho with a run down on it, pic's and pre paint goodies. They deleted antenna, sport mirror, turn signal fender marker on top and the right front had been crunched, windshield is same then as now-cracked top to bottom center. I'm afraid to pull the back seat, I don't think it's ever been out, or shows no sign of it being out. Had a (one of many)Duster, had a bad odor in it, finally pulled the back seat
The interior is one to use as an example of how to not destroy the stitching in an original seat material. They dyed it black, over white, and it does not fade, but the stitching has been eaten up from the chemicals, it's all bad, but we will go back with the split bucket bench, and same with the pass through. It was covered, screwed, and made kinda non usable, which is gonna change at some point too.
Like I said, I'm 62 and Baby is 67, so this is the last one, not going to rush, and have some fun with it-maybe do that one I was gonna have after high school-this was my pick then, and had to drive an old 68 Charger 440 auto...worked then, wish I had it now, in any condition, it would fund the Dart!!!
I'll probably post them in the next week to 10 days. We're working on Baby's 98 Sebring-new top, decides to not go up & down when the temp went up, so...yeah...and fall is coming and top is down?
Mine, she has some awesome ideas. A stroker. Should of spoke up when we first got it...hehehehehe. She tried to have a 4 speed happen until I reminded her she wants to drive sometimes. She used to but can't find a system that could for her yet.
So the big question is "where are all those grocery getters pics folks?"
Saw a thread years ago somewhere a guy was doing a burn out leaving the grocery store i a gasser, groceries were stuffed in every opening, it was kinda cute in a way.
Thats a nice ride, and hey, remember a time when you didn't have a MOPAR in the driveway? :poke: OK, don't sell it.....still kickin my butt sometimes...55 Belvedere 330 3 on the tree, 64 Valiant, it had a V8-I was 14, 'cmon, 1968 Sebring mutation 383 4 speed, gTx for a second or two, everyone had one-64 Rambler 199 six, 4 Dusters at once-all drove,...68 Charger...shamed with an Omni I got trading a Horizon for....Dart...never drove a K car ...hang on to it, it sweet
