I need to get a headliner for my 65 Dart wagon and I found 2 companies that list them. One is Stock Interiors that I've heard of and the other is a place called Newstalgia that I haven't. Has anyone had any experience with either company? They look like the same product, although one is $40. cheaper in price.
Thanks Brian

I would think that either vendor is selling the REM headliner. REM is a huge manufacturer that is wholesaler to most all of the vendors selling soft trim and they also do all of the other manufactures like Ford and GM.

I went through this. I got a sample from Stock Interiors, and I got a sample from Newstalgia. Both samples were identical and when I looked at the address they shipped from, it was Acme Headliner. Acme makes most of the headliners that are out there. They aren't identical to the OEM material, but that's why I get samples. Otherwise a good product.

I ended up getting one from SMS because I wanted a "correct" material. SMS took three times as long and cost twicce as much, but it does match the original very well.

vinyl headliners will take time to relax after you unfold them. If its hot out lay them out flat for a few days. Nothing worse than putting one in and finding out the damn mailing creases are still showing even though you 'bout ruined your fingers trying to stretch it over the dragon teeth. Maybe you can tighten it with a hair dryer, maybe it will make it worse, test on a scrap piece. you want it to shrink a smidge, not stretch.
