A few weeks ago I bought a nice old Crestliner 12 Foot Commander/ Speedster decked bow. The thing empty weighs about 150 lbs. It came with new wood bench seats and dash, no steering, no remote controls, and no motor. I didn't pay very much. This is before I brought it home

Then last Friday I ran across a '77 Johnson 35 hp and a 62-ish 18 hp. I thought the 18 would be an "easy fix" Turns out the opposite. Got the 35 running, it needed a starter solenoid and some tinkering, and this weekend got the steering strung and the remote control temporarily mounted, and a bucket seat (I need back support) temp mounted

So I just got back from a ride on Fernan Lake. Everything went fairly well after I got the engine trim adjusted, and moved EVERYTHING I could move "up front." I need to figure a way to get the fuel tank under the bow

That’s very cool Del...... and being pulled by the White Whale, another big thumbs up!

I ain't fishin and on that note had to wait for two "everything" bass fishermen who were cloggin the ramp up with their custom super duper Cabelas bullshit one man ?? kanoe/ cayaks. I should have got a photo. One guy had SIX fishing rods, and a big huge "portable" fish finder. Christ he had so much crap on that pontoon there was no room for the fish!!

LMAO!!! That is NOT a 'trolling motor' on mine!!! That is 'alternative battery powered emergency propulsion!!'

Correction the "mini whale" (Dakota) I was going to dump it and decided to keep it. Now have it, the "grey whale" (2wd Cummins) and the "new" 04 GMC Sierra

!!!LEAKS!!!! Not sure whether the plug was a bit loose, or if I just splashed some over the stern when launching. It had a little puddle in the stern, never got any worse. I AM HAPPY!!!

That little thing should do about 30 ish propped right..........In a 12 ft boat that wil be scary.......................................................Jeff

30 is what I thought "maybe." The engine "tachs right up." I'm going to have to get a tach rigged up. Hell I don't even know who deals with props around here. I can't afford to buy a wall full just to find "that one." Already been searching CL but many advertised on there --and not many--the seller doesn't give much info as to what they fit or pitch Seller of this outboard gave me another prop but it does not come close to fitting---guessing it's for a 60hp/ larger
