Still Too Hot
Over 4yrs ago I said I'd give an update to my heat concerns. Well here it is. Parked the car, except for occasional coffee runs, and started on my 451 stroker.
Revived it this week, built a shroud, removed all electric fans & controls (what a waste of $$), installed direct OEM 6 blade fan and did a trial test. It's 100+* in high desert this week so after warm-up I let it idle for over 1/2 hr. It never went above 180*. I call that a success. The Champion with a shroud is doing it's job. I'm not a "hater", I just love to learn. Thanks RRR & the rest for thoughts & comments.
