904 shifter control arm rubber Grommet

We used a 1974 Dart donor car for the transmission and put it in our 1970 Dart. My follow up question is; is the rear rod different from those 2 years? The reason I ask is I noticed a cotter pin hole on the rear rod that we are using but the rod does not go thru that bushing, it pushed into place. Did they use different rods and different ways to attach that rod to the Transmission?

Thank you
All the pieces of the column shift automatic trans linkage are different from a 70 to a 74 if they are original to those years except the frame and trans bracket. 70 used pins on both ends of the rods and no bushings in the torque shaft where the rods connect, 74 used bushings at both ends of the rods and in the torque shaft where the rods connect.
