Has anyone installed a KIC harness in there car? I'm doing one on my 73 duster and was curious about the steering column ignition section. I think they usually make these for GM vehicles but they assured me it will work with Mopar A bodies. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I used EZ Wire and it came with instructions and marked wires. Plus they answered the phone and have a very good tech. I would start at KIC. If you paid anything close to their list price on line, I'd be burning their phone up.
Welcome, BTW.

Welcome to Fabo Ahmed. I never heard of a KIC harness before. Is it some aftermarket brand wiring harness. Everything I have is M&H.

Thank you! The wires are marked and pretty simplistic, but there

It stands for "Keep it Clean". I did some research on it and it got some good feedback. It's a whole vehicle harness for about $150. You just have to pin all the wiring, which is not a big deal. Takes more time to put in, but you save about $900 from the plug and play setups.

Wow that's really cool. I coulda used one of those years ago when I built a 1960 el camino. Is it GM color coded? Or does it have it's own color coding? BTW I like the duster in your avatar.

OK $150 sounds about right for the aftermarket gm based harness. I looked on their website and was seeing $550. Screw that.
Without some kind of instructions or wiring diagram from KIC we'd just be guessing.

There's several companies now selling the gm based universal harnesses. Again, I used EZ Wire and it was!

It does come with instructions, that are specific for both GM and Mopar. Maybe I'm over thinking this.

It has it's own color code, but the instructions show you the color code chart for factory compared to KIC harness. So it makes it simple to match up. You have to download the instructions from their website. Doesn't come with kit(I have no idea why but I'm sure it's to reduce overhead)

Yeah even though the wires are marked you should download/email request the instructions. There is probably a wire-to-wire matchup for the column in there.

Keep It Clean is one of many Hoffman Group companies. Stay far far away from these people. Their products are absolute garbage, and they leave you hanging when you try to return their junk or get any kind of tech support when (surprise!) It doesn't work.

Do a Google search for the Hoffman Group and read the horror stories.

If you want a quality harness for reasonable money, Rebel Wire gets my vote.

I posted some pics in My Garage! Hope u guys enjoy. I was able to post videos of my engine on dyno. Can videos be posted?
