Mega Block Question

I am looking at what appears to be an early Mega block for my E85 turbo Duster build. Does anyone know how much power the early block can handle? Looks like it might be a galaxy block without the lifter bore ribs. I am not sure exactly what the lifter bore ribs look like. I cannot seem to find a good picture of them anywhere online.

I’m no expert but I would say the power level is going to be dependent on the tune.

What are your goals power/et wise?

What rotating components do you plan to use?
 
Bryant crank, Oliver rods, Diamond Pistons, Indy 440-1 heads.
I know it will make power with the turbo. My question is how much can an early Mega block handle before it fails.

That's what I am thinking. I have the early blocks from Galaxy were problematic though.

Ideally you should have it sonic checked before buying it, but those blocks were great
 
My uncle has ran a procharged big block in the 900 range for many many years, stock 440 block with girdle,

But on the other hand an aluminum block that can take 2k+ won’t last at 1000 with a bad tune or bad machine work...
